My DIL told me that it's pretty common for women to get infections in their breasts, especially nursing mothers. I had no idea it was so common. I didn't nurse as it was not considered fashionable back then. If you nursed you had to be a "hippy" and I sure wasn't and didn't want to be thought of in that way! Silly, huh.
